External audit non responses
Smaller Authorities Audit Appointments (SAAA) are now receiving management information returns from the audit suppliers – currently, their main concern is the number of authorities they have had no response from, this is higher than in previous years. · NALC's concerns over the impact of the Data Protection Bill and GDPR on local councils were picked up in Parliament last week as well as extensively in the media.
