2019 training courses
Here is an update on the courses available for this year. New for 2019 is Digital Mapping training with Pear Technology which will take place on 13 February. With elections in May 2019 for the Cotswolds, Forest of Dean and Tewkesbury, new councillor training has been set up for the summer and Chairmanship Skills and planning training will be added shortly. General Data Protection Regulations
All member councils were sent a copy of the NALC toolkit which contains model policies and templates to use. NALC and SLCC are working together to clarify the situation on the role of the Data Protection Officer on a national basis and with the Bill going through the House of Commons recently, we hope to have more clarification soon.
