Dursley Town Council has been awarded Local Council Award Scheme 'Quality Gold', they are the first Council in Stroud District and the second council in Gloucestershire to achieve this award. They have built on the previous Quality award obtained in September 2016.

Dursley Town Council has been awarded LCAS 'Quality Gold', they are the second council in Gloucestershire to achieve this award, and the first in Stroud District.
The panel conducted a visit to meet the councillors and tour the area, and were very impressed; describing the council as "the perfect example of what a 'quality gold' council should be.
