Quality Gold Certificate presented to Quedgeley Town Council

Yesterday evening at the Quedgeley Town Council full council meeting they were presented with the Local Council Award Scheme Quality Gold, which is an outstanding achievement for the sector.

If you are interested in finding out about applying contact the office, we are happy to talk to Clerks, councillors and the community about the scheme - as any feedback to improve is welcomed.

The assessment panel met with the council (staff and councillors) today and a tour of projects/services was provided.

This is a brilliant achievement and shows another local council working to an exemplar standard.

Congratulations Charlton Kings Parish Council on achieving Local Council Award Scheme 'foundation' level.

The council produced good work and are the first council in the Cheltenham borough to achieve the award.

Smaller Authorities Audit Appointments (SAAA) are now receiving management information returns from the audit suppliers – currently, their main concern is the number of authorities they have had no response from, this is higher than in previous years.
