All of us at GAPTC would like to wish you a happy Christmas and restful festive period. It's been another busy year for our sector and we want to thank you for all your hard work throughout 2021.

GAPTC new logo and strapline
One of the first tasks of our new staff member Kerrin Cocks (Strategic Support Officer) was to update the logo and strapline for GAPTC.
The new logo denotes GAPTC helping councils to support their communities and was developed in consultation with the Executive Committee led by Cllr Jim Harmsworth-Cowles.

Engagement Board - Covid19 update
The Engagement Board met on Friday 15th January at 1pm, there were 21 in attendance.
Statistics
There has been an increase in occupancy rates in hospital.
There are higher rates of positive tests but it is reducing.
The greater proportion of tests have been in the 20-to-59-year age group.
There is a higher rate of deaths in hospital than in a community setting.
