Local Council Award Scheme

The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) has set up panels to peer review applications from Gloucestershire, and other participating county associations, for Foundation, Quality and Quality Gold Local Council Award Scheme applications. Dual-hatted councillors

A councillor at parish/town level can also serve as councillor at district/borough and county or indeed another parish or town council; this is known as being "dual- or multi-hatted".

We have added a report in the documents section of our website looking at the pros and cons of having a dual-hatted councillor as a member of a parish/town council.
