GAPTC subscription fees 2019/20

The GAPTC Executive Committee met on Wednesday 24th October to agree the subscription fee for 2019/20.

The 2018/19 subs were 32.36 pence per electorate (this was made up of 25.5 pence to GAPTC and 6.86 pence to NALC).

At the NALC AGM it was agreed that the NALC contribution would increase from 6.86 pence to 6.99 pence for 2019/20 (an increase of 0.13 pence per elector).

NALC poll shows support for single code of conduct

The majority of town and parish councils support the introduction of a single, mandatory code of conduct, according to a new poll conducted by the National Association of Local Councils' (NALC).The research found 90% of those surveyed support the same code of conduct for all local authorities.
