Call for evidence on short-term holidays lets

NALC are seeking your views to help them respond to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) call for evidence on developing a tourist accommodation registration scheme. In their response, NALC will relay their leading policy position that any review of regulation or other solutions surrounding short-term holiday lets must include mandatory registration and strengthened legislation to bring Airbnb under the same ambit of regulation as other landlord systems. You can find the policy consultation briefing in the member's area of the NALC website (login required, contact GAPTC if you dont have the log in details), the deadline for responses to is 30 August 2022.
