‘Working Together’ protocol - Stroud District Council
A few weeks ago the clerks in the Stroud District were contacted to get involved in a working party together to look at the 'Working Together' protocol that was first produced by Stroud District Council in 2013. Recently the peer review that STC undertook looked at identified better partnership working with our sector as an opportunity.
A session with STC has been set up on 16th September at 3pm,the purpose of the session is to update this document and make it fit for purpose. Part of the session will be reflecting on what has gone well, and where it needs to be developed. The focus is on clear and positive partnership working, reflecting the changes that have impacted both our sector and the district council, and making this a meaningful piece of work.
There may be some practical projects/work that can be identified which will benefit parish and town councils across the district.
This is being posted again as it would be good to have more clerks and/or cllrs to feed in to this. So far we have representation from:-
Stroud TC (clerk)
Nailsworth TC (clerk)
Hardwick PC (clerk)
An effective group size is between 8 and 12, so I would be grateful if you would let me know whether you are willing to participate – and let me know whether you were involved in the drawing up of the 2013 document (as it would be good to get a mix).
