Expo event 21st June in Droitwich

The Expo is an opportunity to mix with key industry suppliers to the sector - on Friday 21 June in Worcestershire which looks like a really good event, an excellent opportunity for councillors, clerks and county associations to rub shoulders with others in the sector and to meet with nearly 30 suppliers and see what is happening in the wider world and available to help deliver community needs.

Happy City - a think tank looking at the concept of wellbeing as an alternative to economic development as a policy objective - will speak about their Thriving Places Index. They have a well-being index for every area of the country (at unitary or district council level) which should be of interest to all councils. There are also lots of relevant technical sessions and demonstrations.

There will also be an environmental hotspot session showcasing the work of Climate Action and their solar schools campaign; on their work to help the UK to rapidly transition to 100% clean energy; and Frome Town Council on their Climate Emergency initiatives/ winner of zero carbon world EV charging point.

There are also lots of other relevant technical sessions and demonstrations.
