Cyber security for charities and voluntary organisations

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) in partnership with the VCS Alliance are holding a free event to discuss cyber security for charities and voluntary organisations.

The event will take place on Tuesday 2 April from 6-8pm at the Gloucestershire Deaf Association, Colin Road, Barnwood, Gloucester GL4 3JL.

The keynote speaker is John Noble CBE. John is the Priority lead for the Safer Cyber priority of the Police and Crime Plan. John is a non-executive director on the NHS Digital Board leading for information and cyber security. Prior to joining NHS Digital, John was Director of Incident Management at the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), where he led on nearly 800 major cyber incidents. Prior to that, John spent four years at the British Embassy in Washington, USA. During his 40 years of Government service, John specialised in operational delivery and strategic business change. For his work in creating effective partnerships in the run up to the London Olympics, he was awarded a CBE in 2012.
