The GAPTC Executive Committee met on 10th November to agree the subscription fee for 2022/23.
The 2021/22 subs were 33.42 pence per electorate (this was made up of 26 pence to GAPTC and 7.42 pence to NALC).
At the NALC AGM it was agreed that the NALC contribution would increase from 7.42 pence to 7.49 pence for 2022/23 (just under 1%).

Alkington PC has been awarded Foundation level of the Local Council Award Scheme. The council was successful in its application in 2017 and, understanding the importance of the award, reapplied when the award expired after 4 years. The Foundation award is a way of benchmarking so that the community can be confident that the council is working lawfully and meets the required standards

The new Police and Crime Commissioner Chris Nelson is running a series of roadshows across the county during September and October. He is going to be talking about his Police and Crime Plan intentions and the Chief Constable Rod Hansen will also be at each event along with local police management teams.
