Being a Better Councillor

The essential introduction to Parish Council life whether or not you are a Councillor:

• Understand your roles and responsibilities as a Councillor
• Learn the powers and duties of your Council
• Find out what the Council can spend money on
• How to prepare for meetings
• Ensuring the council is acting lawfully
• An overview of council finances
• How to engage with and represent all members of your community

Part 1 from 10am - noon and Part 2 from 1-3pm

COST: £50 per person for GAPTC members £100 for non members
